I developed this program because of the huge amount of interest in intermittent fasting (IF). Although the practice seems like a basic concept, integrating it into your life long term can be a challenge. It is also the reason why the personalisation of IF is very important in making it work. I realise that not everyone has the opportunity to see me in clinic, so I designed a program so I could connect with a larger audience that could benefit from the group community format.

What’s included in the program:

+ Personalised meal plan by Jaime Chambers - clinically practicing dietitian who specialises in 16:8 Intermittent fasting (Authored 16:8 Intermittent Fasting and The Intermittent Fasting Lifestyle Plan)

+ 8 module topics (one per week) on all aspects of intermittent fasting, including:

o The basics of IF – what are the methods? What happens to your body when you fast? What can fasting be beneficial for?

o What to eat/ avoid eating when IF

o How to determine the best IF regime for you

o Weight loss and IF

o IF and managing certain medical conditions

o Navigating life challenges with IF such as holidays, busy work schedules, families etc

o FAQ on IF: can I drink alcohol? What do I do if I stop losing weight? Do the hours you fast make a difference? Would I lose more weight if I fasted for longer?

+ Weekly email with information on each of the module topics

+ Weekly group Zoom session where I talk through the module topics in more detail and discussion Q&A

+ Food diary and goal tracking documents.
